Brown Willy is Cornwall’s highest hill, with a summit reaching 1,378 feet (420 meters) above sea level.

Bring a picnic and conquer the tors. Be sure to pick a lovely day as you do not want to be caught short.

Or maybe go along the copper trail taking in the villages along the way!

Bike it

How about taking a lovely bike ride with the family along the camel trail– its 18 miles to padstow . It sounds a lot, but it goes along a disused railway its relatively flat and has some stunning views.

The stretch from dunmere to wenford bridge is scenic passing through woodland and following a former quarry railroad. There are places to stop to picnic or cafes along the way.

Polperro

Visit looe or polpero as they are some of the most charming villages in south Cornwall.

Have breakfast in polperro , at one of lovely cafes are along the cobbled streets . be sure to visit the harbour side museum and learn the history of smuggling..

Take a drive to looe – have some quality family time on a golden beach or if it is a bit chilly explore the shops and cafes.

Try squid ink restaurant for your evening meal – highly recommend
