Lands End
Lands End is a holiday complex in western Cornwall approx. 8 miles south west of Penzance. It is the most westerly point of mainland Cornwall.
The present hotel and complex amenities are at Carn Kez 200 m south of the actual lands end
The peninsula real name is peal point. Lands End to John o groats Scotland is a distance of 838 miles.
Lands End is a popular place for rock climbers with cliffs made out of granite.
Lands end has been a tourist attraction for over 300 years, its modern attractions include children’s play areas . Twice a week in august, Lands end hosts “magic of the skies “ a night time fireworks show
