Rock is a fishing village on the coast of Cornwall. It is opposite Padstow.

It was originally called “Black Rock” in the 18th century, which is now shortened to Rock

Rock Sand dunes bank on the river camel.

Rock is an ideal location for a family holiday in Cornwall. Rock has the largest collection of second homes in the county.

Various water sports i.e. Water skiing and sailing can be done in Rock.

Rock has been referred to as Britain’s Saint Tropez or Kensington of Cornwall or Chelsea on Sea.

The name Rock comes from a local quarry. There is a popular ferry between Padstow and Rock.

Rock is home to Sharps brewery, a real ale brewery – home of Doom Bar Ale.

The beach at rock is a west facing sandy beach.
