Travel to Newquay
You have a few options to enjoy your Newquay holiday, for the sake of this blog we Are traveling from London.
Will take Approx. 4HRS 53MINS – Might be a little extra if little monkeys need to stop on the way!! 280 miles approx. Via M4 and M5. Exit M5 onto A30 then A39 to Newquay.
London waterloo via Exeter St David’s to St Austell change trains to Newquay Takes 7 hrs 40 min with stop and change.
London Paddington – take train to Heathrow airport

A weekend break in Newquay
We have arrived….
We are going to stay in a camp site in Newquay
We are staying in Hendra holiday park some of the facilities include
- The land train- hippo safari land train
- Evening entertainment – the venue
- Oasis fun pools
We had a lovely evening.
In the morning we took a drive to explore the town and surroundings.
We went all the way through town had lunch of fish and chips and spent the afternoon on fistral beach
Next day …
We decided to explore some more we visited
Newquay zoo – where we can adopt an animal and where we saw red pandas and meerkats
In the afternoon we visited
Lappa valley railway
Some of the engines likely to see are
Zebedee no 1
We also had a lesson at Escape surf school
Now sadly its time to go home
Where is Newquay?
Located on Cornwall’s north coast – it has been voted “best family holiday destination “ Newquay is open all year – also got Gold standard for best seaside town .
